1995 to present- Colleen D. Hawley Inc., a business, sales, marketing and public relations consulting firm. Clients have included Southern Building Supplies; the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Robert Runcie; Tulane University; Freeport McMoRan; national political consultants Mary Matalin and James Carville; and Clemson Football coach Tommy Bowden.
As a busines consultant, Colleen was acting COO of a regional industrial electronics company with offices in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama for four years. She revamped the company and retrained the work force, bringing the firm back to profitability and establishing a strong market presence.
1983 to 1995-owned and operated New Orleans Connection, a convention planning and destination management company in the greater New Orleans area.
