City of Hammond initiates debris clean up
HAMMOND---The City of Hammond will initiate debris pick up for small limbs and branches which fell during last week's winter ice storm.

Mayor Mayson Foster said the city will use its own crews to begin the process of cleaning city streets, ditches, and laterals of debris that may have accumulated during the storm.

Holiday Lights at Zemurray Park open Thursday
HAMMOND---A multitude of miniature lights await visitors to the 14th annual Christmas light display in Zemurray Park, which opens this Thursday night.

"Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from TEAM Hammond" is the theme for the annual event which transforms Hammond's Zemurray Park into a winter wonderland.

Meet and Greet
HAMMOND---Hammond Mayor Mayson Foster and Hammond Chamber of Commerce President Lemar Marshall welcome guests to an open house at JC Penney, the first store constructed and opened in the new Hammond Square shopping center. The City of Hammond, the Hammond Chamber, and Stirling Properties hosted the open house Oct. 1.
